VPNWhen / Use Cases

A connection for every use case

Start with the service you want to access, then choose a region, route type, and client protocol. Your experience depends on the entire connection path, not just the region name.

Peak-hour connection quality depends not only on the route's region, but also on local access, carrier interconnections, and the response time of the destination service. VPNWhen groups IEPL, relay, and direct routes so you can compare different paths for the same use case. If a page loads slowly or a video buffers, keep the destination region and try another route type, then check whether the task improves. This approach reduces variables compared with repeatedly switching regions. Actual speed and stability depend on your current network.

VPNWhen uses military-grade encryption to protect data transferred between the client and the route. When using public Wi-Fi, consider connection protection alongside account security: get the client from the user panel, set a separate password, and keep your subscription link secure as an account credential. Encryption does not replace a website's own login protections or change how a destination service manages accounts. When troubleshooting, you can share the client name, error message, and selected region, but don't include your full subscription link in a public screenshot. See the Privacy Policy for more information.

You might work on documents on a computer and review files on a mobile device, switching between operating systems as needed. VPNWhen allows unlimited simultaneous devices and supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux; import your subscription into the client for each platform. Device count and plan data are separate: unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. Choose a plan based on actual usage across your devices. After switching devices, check the region and proxy settings rather than assuming the previous setup has synced. You can also disconnect devices you're not using to help identify where data is being consumed.

When accessing AI tools, assess the network connection, service availability by region, and account status separately. VPNWhen offers international routes so you can choose an exit region based on the target service's requirements. If a page opens but sign-in or a request fails, check account permissions, service status, and the client's proxy scope instead of repeatedly changing protocols. For everyday use, stick with a region and route you've verified to reduce changes. Network acceleration does not include third-party tool accounts, paid features, or regional eligibility, and access to every tool on every route is not guaranteed.

Streaming depends on the regional catalog, your account entitlements, and the current route's access conditions. VPNWhen lets you choose routes by region, so you can start with the content you want and then check sign-in, catalog availability, and playback. Opening the homepage doesn't guarantee uninterrupted playback, and catalog availability may also depend on account settings. If playback buffers, compare other routes in the same region and check your local Wi-Fi. Regional detection and content licensing can change across platforms, so route previews are a starting point—not a promise that a particular route will always work for streaming.

Choose a plan based on your usual devices, network, and access needs. VPNWhen offers a 14-day refund policy, so you can decide based on your actual experience. After getting started, test your usual websites, work tools, and video playback, then check whether data use matches your expectations. For support or a refund request, use a ticket in the user panel and include your order details and what you need help with. See the Terms of Service for the applicable conditions. Don't share your password or subscription credentials to report an issue; describing the problem, client, and circumstances is more helpful.

The region determines the exit; the route shapes the experience

When choosing a region, first check the target service's requirements, then consider how well your local network connects to that region. A shorter distance can be a useful starting point, but it doesn't guarantee faster speeds. Carrier interconnections, route detours, and the destination site's response can all affect the experience. Work tools and video services also have different network needs, so test with the task you need to complete rather than relying only on the client's connection status.

IEPL, relay, and direct describe different ways of organizing network paths; they are not a universal ranking for every use case. A relay adds a forwarding step, while a direct route reduces intermediate forwarding; a dedicated line uses its own link arrangement. Protocol and route are also distinct: changing protocols does not necessarily change the route topology, and changing regions may not resolve local Wi-Fi issues. For more detail, read the technical reference to protocols and routes.

Connection quality depends on your local network, selected route, and destination service. Route details reflect what is currently shown in the panel.

CLIENT / GET CONNECTED

Get a client for your platform

Sign in to the user panel to get your subscription. Clients are available after sign-in, except for iOS, where access requirements are shown in the panel. Every link takes you to the user panel, where you can choose a client for your current operating system.

Windows

Get a desktop client, import your subscription, then check your system proxy settings.

Get the client

macOS

Install the client as instructed in the panel, then confirm the connection mode and selected region.

Get the client

Android

Import your subscription, allow the connection when prompted by your system, then test a service you use regularly.

Get the client

iOS

Check the access requirements and instructions in the panel, then import your subscription.

Linux

Choose a client for your operating system and check its proxy scope and app connection method.

One clear path from account setup to connection

No email address required—create an account with a username and password. In the user panel, review the plans and data options, then get a client and personal subscription for your platform. The client establishes the connection; the subscription provides route information. They are not the same file. Installing the client alone does not complete setup: you still need to import the subscription, update the route list, and choose a suitable region.

After importing, check that the client has loaded the region list, then confirm the selected route and proxy mode. Test by opening a commonly used international website and trying to sign in or load content. If your browser works but an app doesn't, check whether that app uses the system proxy. Recheck the connection after switching Wi-Fi networks or devices. For step-by-step instructions, see the client setup guide. If you see an error, visit the Help Center.

Your subscription link is a personal credential; don't post it in public forums or send it to people who don't need it. If you need help through a support ticket, share your platform, client, selected region, and the error you encountered. Hide account and subscription details in screenshots. Get clients and subscriptions through the panel, where you can also check account status and updates.

PLANS / TRAFFIC

Choose a monthly plan based on your usage

Monthly plans start at ¥9.9/month. All plans allow unlimited simultaneous devices, and data resets monthly on the activation date. When you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Before choosing, consider how often you'll use the service and where your data goes—not just the number of devices.

Consider fixed monthly usage and occasional use separately

Monthly plans suit ongoing use when you want a set data allowance each month. Light browsing, video streaming, and file syncing use data differently, and background updates can affect consumption, so data allowances don't translate neatly into a fixed number of viewing hours. After getting started, check your actual usage in the panel before deciding whether to change plans. Resets are based on your activation date; check your account rather than assuming a calendar-month cycle.

If your usage is irregular, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data remains available until used and never expires. Data packages and monthly plans work differently: decide whether you prefer a recurring monthly allowance or a more flexible option for occasional use. Check the user panel for current plans and account details.

READING / Setup and choices

Subscription and route guides

Clear explanations of common questions, from importing a subscription to choosing a plan. Learn how account credentials and clients work together, then choose routes for work, study, or streaming—it's easier to troubleshoot than by repeatedly changing settings at random.

When reading a guide, first identify whether the issue involves your account, subscription, client, or route. Your account determines which service information you can view; the subscription provides route configuration; the client establishes the connection; and the route shapes the path to the destination service. Checking each part separately is usually more effective than changing devices, protocols, and regions all at once. To discuss your situation, submit the details through a user panel support ticket.
